Not Even A Cold, Rainy Day Could Stop the Fun at this Wet Wedding

Jean and Chris were not expecting a deluge of water on their wedding day a few weeks ago and I was hoping for a gorgeous day to photograph this venue, Texas Rock House, for the first time but we don't always get what we want.

It didn't matter in the end. I wore rain boots and kept my gear covered and the day ended with a perfect, crisp evening. And Jean and Chris had a blast dancing all night in this intimate barn setting with their closest friends.

Erin, the venue manager, worked hard to keep everyone dry and warm. I can't wait to return to this venue on a pretty day to photograph all the cool spots. It really is a little gem of a venue. Congrats to these two for finding love and taking the day with humor and charm.
