If you were out a Kid Fest last month, they were serving drinks and if you made the Fourth of July Parade you probably saw them skating down the street.
I got to meet these lovely ladies in the studio a few weeks ago to photograph them for their publicity ads.
The season doesn't officially start until next year so for now they're working out, learning their moves, and getting to know each other.
They're a fun, supportive bunch of ladies of all shapes and sizes and all ages from fresh out of their teens to well into their middle ages.

And keep watching this blog in the coming months. I intend to photograph some of their games and I can't wait to share highlights with you.
Each lady has a clever name to go with her persona. It was a challenge for me to illustrate these ladies and show off how awesome they are.
