Right about now Allison is walking down the aisle toward Clay at the Chandelier of Gruene. I'll share some of those images later and I'm sure they'll be gorgeous.
But for now take a peek at some of Allison's bridal session from a few weeks ago.
The Chandelier never fails to impress me with its gorgeous views and this time we even had some bluebonnets still left for us to admire.
I've been so looking forward to shooting a wedding at the Village Venue at Creekside ever since they first broke ground on it.
If you follow my blog you might remember when I first posted about it. I was so excited to finally get to shoot a real event there. I have several more on the books as well so it won't the last!
Madison and Brady got married at the First Protestant Church in New Braunfels after getting ready at the Venue. They also made a stop in Gruene on their way back to the Venue to celebrate.
A couple of things I loved about shooting at the Venue were the color balance and the acoustics. The neutral walls left a beautiful, natural color caste on the people. And there was no trouble having conversations with the people around you even when the DJ was playing music loud enough to dance to. It's the perfect environment for a celebration.
I love shooting at Milltown Historic District because it's always so beautiful by the water, it's close to home, and it has a way of attracting the most down-to-earth couples.
Courtney and Robert were no exception. These two met at the New Braunfels Public Library where they're both librarians. Their love of books was evident in the decor and their love of pop culture came through as well. The bride wore Gonzo shoes in a nod to her favorite Muppet and the groom wore pig cuff links like Homer Simpson did in an episode of the Simpsons.
The wedding day was perfect for them. I was so honored to be a part of it.
