Bras for a Cause Never Disappoints {New Braunfels Event Photography}

This is my sixth year to photograph Bras for a Cause for the Women's Council of Realtors Hill Country Chapter in New Braunfels.

Bras for a cause allows local businesses to decorate bras, which are then modeled by area fire fighters. Community members have the opportunity to bid on these bras and those bids can get really high, with some going for more than $7,000.

The firefighters love to participate in this event each year. Even the chief got involved and offered a dinner for four at the fire station to go along with the bra he modeled.

Every year it gets bigger and bigger with more and more money being raised for women in the area with breast cancer. But unlike money that's raised by big corporations with just a small percentage actually going to the women and the cause, Bras for a Cause puts all that money into the community going directly to the women. It goes to the women who need help paying their bills when they're forced to take time off of work to fight the disease. It goes to help women get gas for their car to make it to chemotherapy and doctor's appointments. It helps single mothers make ends meet while trying to fight breast cancer while they take care of their children alone.

I'm honored to be the official photographer of this event each year. It's for a great cause and it's also a lot of fun. Enjoy some images from this years amazing celebration.
