Outdoor weddings can be fun in July {New Braunfels Wedding Photography}

It's officially summer in Texas and that means often triple digit or near triple digit heat most days. It was 95 degrees the other day when Nickie and Chris tied the knot in their outdoor ceremony at Conservation Society. But the heat didn't bother many of us because we were so distracted by this beautiful couple and their heartfelt vows to each other.

Nickie and Chris wrote their own vows and there was hardly a dry eye in the house after their words. Even my second, Laura, was bawling through the camera as she photographed.

It's touching to see such emotion in my couples.

It was also fun to capture some Jewish wedding traditions during this ceremony. The couple were married beneath a huppah, and the groom shattered a glass at the end of the ceremony.

They had a vintage theme with classic coke bottles and a homemade and very delicious potluck lunch.

I was so honored to be a part of this glorious, although very warm, Satruday afternoon.
