Gorgeous Bridal Session Roadtrip to this Unique Ranch {San Antonio Wedding Photography}

I was thrilled to get a call from Lindsey's mom a few months ago. I did Lindsey's senior portraits quite a few years ago and was thrilled to hear that they wanted me to shoot her wedding.

Lindsey's bridals were at a gorgeous ranch that's super top secret so I won't tell you where it is. But the fun spots were nonstop during our sunset session last November. Now that the I-dos are done, I can share a few from our session.

Congratulations Lindsey and Colby.

Downs Syndrome Association Celebrates in Gatsby Style {San Antonio Event Photography}

I love to photograph special events for special people. So when the Downs Syndrome Association of South Texas asked me to shoot their annual Hugs Gala at the gorgeous Pearl Stable, I jumped at the chance.

I had no idea until I showed up that the theme would be the roaring 20s. I absolutely love themed events, especially Gatsby and 20s themed events!

The crowd was amazing and I met so many friendly people who supported the families of kids with downs syndrome.

The event served as a fund raiser and the silent auction table was jam packed with some of the coolest prizes I've ever seen! Signed Spurs jerseys, designer handbags and jewelry and even a year's supply of Whataburger! I'm all over that!

It was so fun meeting these kids and their families and supporters. Thanks for letting me capture it!

Short but Sweet Weddings are Fun {Gruene Wedding Photography}

Most of the weddings I shoot are full day, all out bashes. But every now and then it's fun to do something small and sweet. I looked at my calendar and realized that it's becoming more common, at least when I look at my clients, to host smaller affairs with just a few family and friends.

My calendar has quite a few of these intimate, quiet weddings booked this year. I love them!

For one, I can really get to know the couple and their family better. There's not much drama. They're more laid back and they're often just a few hours so I get home at a decent time.

The other day I was at the River House in Gruene to photograph the short and sweet wedding of Nicole and Brad.

The restaurant is owned by a friend who was honored to host this intimate wedding for this fun family.

We were able to take a walk around Gruene during the photo hour and get some nice images in a fun, informal setting.

I offer special packages for small and sweet ceremonies like this that aren't listed on my site. Contact me for more information!

Congratulations Nicole and Brad!
