This Family Knows How to Celebrate {New Braunfels Wedding Photography}

Even after more than 200 weddings, some of them still thrill me. Some weddings are so amazing for whatever reason that they stick out in my mind. Maybe it's a bride who's sweeter than cake. Or a mom who is so nice that I enjoy and look forward to talking to her. Maybe it's because the wedding itself is so full of fun activities. Maybe it's when I get to work with amazing vendors who I love. Or maybe the venue is a favorite spot with an amazing staff. This wedding fits all of those.

Chelsea and Idir were married at Castle Avalon last weekend. I know I've told you how much I love the castle. I always enjoy shooting there -- it never gets old. But you add to that, this couple and the families, and the dove release, and the caricature artist, and the coffee bar, and the concert pianist, and the gourmet food, and the amazing Eiffel Tower ice sculpture, and you have a wedding for the record books.

Just take a look at some of the details from this day.

The caricature artist was a blast. Take a look at the one I got with my second Laura from Laura Schmidbauer Photography, the videographer Dayna from Stella Haus Films, and her assistant for the afternoon, Chrystina from Straughan Photography. Can you tell which one is me?

The wedding was gorgeous from start to finish. I hope I can do it justice in the photos. What an honor to be a part of it!
