Rachel and Parker knew they were destined for each other when they fell in love at Texas A&M.
They saw their dreams realized on a rainy day in Gruene last weekend. Their plans were to get married on the balcony of the Gruene Event Center and it looked like that wouldn't happen early in the day with sprinkles and showers hitting throughout the day.
But Rachel insisted it would not rain during the ceremony so they didn't move it inside. She was right.
The clouds parted and the sun came our just as she and her attendants were walking down the aisle.
I always love photographing Aggie weddings. The people are so nice and down to earth. Plus we have stories to share about our time at the University.
Thanks for letting me be part of this special day!

The Shiner Crowd Loves a Good Party {Shiner Wedding Photography}
I had a great time in the small town of Shiner the other day. It was a dream team wedding with one of my favorite second shooters, Laura, of Laura Schmidbauer Photography and one of my favorite videographers, Rick with Budget Wedding Videos. Hair and makeup for the bridal party was done by one of my favorite stylists, Ashley, with Ashley K Makeup.
It always makes the wedding more fun when you're working with great people. And there were a lot great people involved in this wedding. The father of the bride was the brewmaster for Shiner beer. If you grew up in Texas, you're familiar with the popularity of Shiner Beer.
The Shiner flowed freely at this reception that's for sure. We were also blessed with the performance from the famous Shiner Hobo Band.
I've photographed a couple of weddings in this small Texas town before and it's always a big party. IT was fun seeing my former brides and grooms and the children they've produced.
Amanda and Cody were a fun couple. I was so happy to share this day with them.
