Hometown Bride, Gorgeous venue {Bastrop Wedding Photography}

Right now I'm having a great time in my hometown photographing a wedding for the daughter of one of my high school friends -- we were Honeybears together at Bastrop High School. It's hard to believe someone my age is old enough to have a daughter getting married. Seems like just last year we were high-kicking on the field with the Honeybears.

I love weddings like this. I'm probably seeing a lot of old friends that I haven't seen in years. I set this blog to run right about the time the reception is getting started so I could show you Britanny's bridal session as soon as possible. I didn't want to spoil the surprise for the groom by showing it off too early. I'm anxious to share some of these gorgeous images of this beautiful bride.

We met up at Texas Old Town in March. The people at the Springs were kind enough to let us use their amazing venue to capture these images.

I can't wait to share some of their wedding images. I know they'll be beautiful with this couple and with this family.

My Adventures in the Most Perfect Bluebonnet Field {New Braunfels Wedding Photography}

This year's crops of bluebonnets were amazing. And I found the most perfect spot with Georgia, a beautiful bride who's marrying her love, Aaron, right about now. I'm at her wedding photographing the festivities but I'm setting this blog to run right about the time she's walking down the aisle.

Back in March I visited the family's ranch off Hwy 46 in New Braunfels for Georgia's bridal session. These bluebonnets were about knee high and smelled so beautiful.

I'll share some images from the wedding in a few days. For now, enjoy the scenery.

Road trip! My travels to Victoria for a perfect country wedding {Victoria Wedding Photography}

I love a good road trip. Last weekend I loaded the gear up and headed for Victoria for a wedding for fellow photographer, Christine, with Captured Moments by Christine. She's a great photographer so I knew I had to be on my game for her wedding.

The day was beautiful and the location was a secluded ranch in the country. The mosquitoes ate us alive, but they didn't damper the party atmosphere.
